When I was a kid, back in the late 60s probably, I saw a segment of a movie on TV one night that I've never been able to identify. It was probably a theatrical release from the 50s or 60s that was being televised, though it's possible it was a made-for-television flick.
The scene involved a group of sailors watching a horror movie during their downtime. I think the movie was "The Indestructible Man," though it may have been a fictitious film that was created for the movie -- anyway, it involved a condemned man being put to death in the electric chair, and then rising from the dead, fortified with some sort of electricity-based superpowers.
Just as that scene in the movie-within-a-movie played out, the ship was bombed and the sailors had to go charging out of the room to man their battle stations.
At that point something ended my viewing pleasure -- bedtime, parents deciding to watch football... who knows?
Anybody recall this flick?
