I'll probably pass.Having just started to look over my copy this afternoon the wealth of information and fantastic photos is truly amazing. I was disappointed too when I first heard that I needed to read Jim Danforth's book on my computer but now that I see it I truly think this is a must have item for any fan of great stop motion effects. My guess is that with so much material an actual book would have been half as long at twice the price.Jim Aupperle

I've said elsewhere, on a number of occasions, I would have loved to seen Hammer Films take a crack at Doyle's dinosaur novel. Andrew Kier as Professor Challenger, Christopher Lee as Sir John Roxton, Peter Cushing as Professor Summerlee, throw in Francis Matthews or Oliver Reed as Malone, add some dinos by Danforth, and you've got a show!

That's almost exactly the cast I always imagined, except that for some reason I see the lesser known Michael (Prehistoric Women) Latimer as Malone.

Next the Woolner Brothers' Dimension Pictures became interested in Timegate and wanted Jack Arnold to direct it. That would have been fine with me except that when I met Jack and suggested that we should discuss my script he snapped, "I don't see what business it is of yours; your job is just to put dinosaurs in my film." With attitude like that, I saw trouble ahead. ..."This was in 1977.
