Mar 22 06 4:26 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I've just finished creating an EZboard to discuss 1950s sci fi movies. I created 9 folders, 1950-1959, and within each folder I created a thread for each movie - listed alphabetically. In the "Forum Specific Administration" section, in the "General Settings" for each of these forums, I have unclicked the box that says "Move updated topic to top." Nevertheless, whenver I make an addititon to one of the movies listed, it is brought to the top of the forum instead of staying in alphabetical order. Very frustrating. Mar 25 06 8:53 PM Burgomaster Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I don't know of any way to change the order of the topics you create within a folder. They will most likely appear in the order they were created unless you select to move the one with the newest post to the top. The only solution I can suggest is to delete all the topics to have now, make sure you have decided on all the topics you want to include in the folder and then create them again in alphabetical order.

As soon as you add an entry that topic moves to the top of the folder. This is because not only does the board itself have a "Move updated topic to top of list" function, but individual posters also have that function as standard. So even if I turn off the function on the board, visitors will still "new" posts on top regardless, unless they turn off the function in their own preferences...which they probably won't want to do ... Apr 4 06 5:19 PM Burgomaster Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	This would be awkward, but you could 'stick' the topics. They would then stay in the order in which you stuck them. There's a stick/unstick function available to moderators. That's how the two topics at the top of this folder stay up there. In that order. But they would always be at the top...in order at least...
