Apr 18 04 9:57 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Lights Out, Inner Sanctum, and Escape were 3 excellent OTR shows. The stories, moods, sound effects etc. were guarenteed to raise the short hairs on the back of your neck. Does anybody else have a list of favorite OTR's? rhomak

Jul 29 04 12:16 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	My collection of old-time radio shows is pretty extensive. On the horror end it's as complete as I can make it, thanks to Ebay and dozens of internet websites that stream the shows. My favorite in the horror vein is, of course, the classic Inner Sanctum. But I'll tell you what, the British version, "The Creaking Door," is top-notch in its own right. Among the real oldies I like are "The Witches Tale" (with a 13-year-old girl playing Old Nancy, the Witch of Salem!), "Hermit's Cave," "The Sealed Book," "Murder at Midnight," "Dark Fantasy," and "Lights Out." In a more modern vein there's "CBS Radio Mystery Theater" and the pretty outrageous "Nightfall." I love talking about OTR. Searching out those great old shows actually caused me to abandon my horror movie-collecting ways for a couple of years, until I found about all the radio stuff I wanted.
