If my opinion matters not to you, then why the insistence in carrying this on day after day? Dismiss it and be done with it. But that's not what this is about, now is it? You're just upset because I said I thought it was a stupid idea, and you don't like the fact that I don't like it. You're apparently also intolerant of people who have the self-awareness to know what they like and what they don't like. I feel sorry for you, having to constantly taste things and spit them out in disgust. Like I said, for someone who "has no time" to spend on those who criticize something without even reading it, you're certainly spending a lot of unavailable time on it.

ARMY OF DARKNESS came out today, with EVIL DEAD's Ash being attacked by Zombie Superhero S in the limbo between dimensions. A blast to the creature's chest sends them both into the alternate Marvel universe, where Ash seeks the help of the Avengers to stop the superhero zombie he inadvertantly brought to their world (apparently, this zombie is a different form of Deadite). They think Ash is a nut and try to stop S, but soon, a few of the Avengers are bitten, and things quickly go south from there. At the end of the first book, Ash finds himself helplessly cocooned in Spidey's web and surrounded by very hungry zombies of Ms. Marvel, Luke Cage and Hawkeye. How will he escape? SPOILERS OVER I have to say that I enjoyed this book more than I did the MARVEL ZOMBIES mini-series. Having Ash as a principal player adds more humor to the proceedings and seems to put this book into the proper tone. I wish the heroes didn't turn into zombies quite so quickly, as it would be more interesting to watch them deal with their new thoughts, desires and hunger. Once bitten, they turn flesheater within seconds. But, it's only 5 issues long, so I guess they don't have the space. Oh well, I'm hooked. I'm in it for the duration. DOCTOR 13

I keep wondering how this is going to end, since already know what comes afterward. I'll read the final 2 issues, though. The Marvel Zombies one-shot "Dead Days" also came out last month, telling the story of how the Fantastic Four got infected, setting up their initial appearance in the Ultimate Fantastic Four comic. It's interesting that I still find the mini-series which skyrocketed the popularity of this particular franchise to be the least entertaining of all the Marvel Zombie books so far. And I have to wonder...with this franchise's huge success, is DC planning on anything similar? Could one of the 52 earths house the DC Zombies? Or DC Vampires? DOCTOR 13

Jan 31 08 10:49 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	With the success of the Marvel Zombies books, and MARVEL ZOMBIES 2 now in its 4th (of 5) issue, a couple of fans have made their own trailer for a fictional MARVEL ZOMBIES movie. Apparently, the response has been so great and favorable that a rumor is circulating that Marvel is now considering making an animated movie based on the characters, according to Horror-Movies site.
