I wonder sometimes if there is something horror/sci-fi you haven't done. Love the fact that there is Zombie Dad for all occassions. Your my hero sir! MonsterGuy!!! I love the inky depth of those pieces!!! Just beautiful. I know your Comic says DC but for some reason I think Gold Key or Dell!! Like some of the classic Treks. Really sweet stuff sir!! Can't wait to see what else you post perhaps different comic covers. I think we need a Planet of the Apes month for the Challenge. I recall doing Caesar and Urses for a Ape month but can't recall if it was only a general ape category. Either way count me in. Graham if it helps. I struggle with almost every piece of art I produce. I'm absolutely thrilled when someone likes something I've worked on. Sometimes it's hard for me to relax when painting because the piece can be such a battle. But in the end I love what I do and usually can't wait to post what I have come up with here. Funny you should say this Adam Eterno is an old UK comic character, so this was a "what If" an American publisher did some re-prints for the States Here's a "fake" 70s Charlton (Not so keen on the painting but I do like the tea stain going through the logo. I saw a couple of photos from Sister Hyde that I hadn't seen before and thought they would look good joined up as a mini collage, especially as Ralph's image faded to black to the right and matched the black background for Martine's photo. Me...trying to experiment a bit more as I go along.

My favourite part of this painting is the skin tones in Ralph Bates' face. Just wonderful. I'm glad that you gave us a step by step but still wondering "How does he DO this?!?" Masterful.
