Jane and I were on our way to Geore Reis' excellent annual Drive-in Super Monster-Rama event this past weekend, about an hour's drive away. I had just gotten UH.2 and I knew I'd get a headache and carsick if I read it on the way over. I took it anyway. But I couldn't stop reading it! Couldn't help myself! And sure enough, I got fairly sick. But it was worth it! (A great read, detailed and very informative but breezy.) Sep 17 09 1:01 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	How funny -- I'm working on it right now -- doing some more revising on the IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE chapter, which I let get completely out of hand with coverage of all the various scripts and shenanigans and the shooting schedule and post-production decision to add a monster, etc., etc., etc. With some padding, it'd be long enough to be a short book on its own.

Where are you guys at? (Recently I watched the lukewarm A&C MEET THE KILLER, BORIS KARLOFF and actually consulted the old book to read opinions on it, forgetting that the book cut out at 1946!!). Tom -- I really wish you guys would consider tying up some loose '40s ends somewhere in UNI 2 !

Apr 26 12 2:11 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	We divvied up the titles three ways; no chapter was a collaborative effort (beyond the usual proofreading/fact-checking/offering-of-suggestions for each other's finished chapters). If one of us was kinder to a movie or tougher on a movie than one or two of the others liked, he/they might grumble and/or might try and make the writer "see things his way" a little more, but the disagreements never once went beyond that.
