One of my favorite things from the fall issue is the "Halloween in Britain" feature. I'm glad to see this has become a regular event!

I wouldn't call the photos "atrocious" . I will say that the photos in SCARY MONSTERS are as good as or in some cases better than those in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s monster magazines that we pattern A Real Monster Magazine after.

Don't know if the new issue is the one with Karloff as The Mummy on the cover

I just picked up the new Rue Morgue yesterday and Scary Monsters last week and both are highly recommended. Can't wait to read the monster cereal article.

I've collected Monster cereral boxes for decades along with various toys and promotional items featuring Count Chocula, Frankenberry, Boo Berry, and Yummy Mummy so my kitchen is full of those items (that's were I keep the stuff) so the atmosphere will be perfect!

In order to save Scary Subject space I have once again edited the title of this thread. I signed off on the cover proof of the latest and perhaps greatest Scary Terry Beatty cover featuring Vincent Price from HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL about a week and a half ago and signed off on the 128 body proof 6 days ago so A Real Monster Magazine is now in its printing stages. The SCARY Sixty-Fifth HAUNTED Issue will be shipping right after the first of the year. Some of the Scary Contents include: SCARY-DAY MATINEE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL THE COSMIC DRIVE-IN: Wisconsin Drive-ins Part 1 KOUNT KURTA'S KREEPY KOLLECTIBLES KORNER on HORROR MONSTERS 5 cents GRAB BAGS Of Dogs and MONSTERS Daniel Roebuck's HAUNTED HOUSE The Last BAT PACK Article The Professor's Podium: UNIVERSAL MONSTERS never glowed in the movies.
