While browsing Comcast On Demand last night I discovered there's Something Weird (as in Something Weird Video) On Demand now available. They have short features on the Chiller Theatre Convention, trailer collections, various shorts, music videos, and even feature films all from their massive catalog. Best of all, it's free if you have Comcast Digital Cable. I sure the content will change month to month like other On Demand offerings. Check it out if you have On Demand! I found this inffo online about it:
Quote:Also, how many of you remember the SWV show on USA network hosted by Sandra Bernhard in the 90s? They ran abbreviated versions of their films.
Beginning October 13 ... SOMETHING WEIRD ON DEMAND will offer FREE access via your digital cable service to 6 hours of bizarre, whacked-out, odd-ball films and shorts specially selected from SWVs archive of films. With On-Demand from Comcast, you decide when its time to watch Something Weird on your TV! You will be able to check out films like TWO THOUSAND MANIACS, the 1964 cult horror classic and TEASERAMA, the 1955 burlesque classic starring Bettie Page; plus a different line-up every month of pop culture classics, vintage classroom educational scare films, retro erotica and burlesque features, and movie trailers galore!
