If anyone here watches HBO's vulgar but crudely funny sitcom "Lucky Louie", you may've been as surprised as me by this week's episode: Louie spends all of the house money, leaving his wife without funds for her annual July 4th bash, and shorting the rent as well - how can he get it back? The difference this time with this familiar situation is that Louie spent the money buying a Frankenstein monster doll online. While the doll was not recognizable as any particular company's (he only referred to it as an "original" Frankenstein), the scenario was certainly recognizable to monster kids, especially Louie's lamenting about how the internet has made such rash purchases far too easy! I wonder if star/creator Louis C. K. is a monster kid in real life - it looks that way.
