Aug 11 12 12:05 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	One of my few pet peeves, even though it's a bigger one than it might sound like, is the overdone running jokes. I don't mean so much the ones WITHIN an episode (like that "Catalina Caper" one I mentioned) as the ones repeated dozens of times from one episode to another. As I've said many times, I watch MST for really "out of left field" jokes, so the one thing interferes with the other. And even though I hate to turn it into one more "Joel vs. Mike" thing, it seems like the number of them really went down after Mike took over.

Gadfly Just as a tie-in - I was over at a friend's house and they insisted on watching an MST3K episode on NetFlix. Turns out that NetFlix has English Subtitles for their MST3K episodes! I've been wanting this from the DVD series for a long time and I'm tempted to get NetFlix for this - amongst others - reason. Not sure if that's for all of them or just a few, or if Hulu is the same, but still.

Don't get me wrong, I love Trace as Dr. Forrester, but his Crow really gets on my last nerve. Again, one of my VERY FEW problems with his Crow is that Lucille Ball imitation he insisted on doing heaven knows how many times. I don't know about anything else, but you don't have to either love or hate Lucille Ball for THAT joke to get on your last nerve! I actually go so far as to mute it when I hear it coming.

He's doing this high-pitched whiny little kid voice and I just can't stand it most of the time. I still think what he's saying is funny.
