I hear rumor that a new distributor may be releasing the show on DVD, but a suggestion to create new HD transfers from the preserved 35mm master fine grains has (apparently) fallen on deaf ears.

I know I've written about it elsewhere, but the short version is that I began working for the Estates in 1984. Over a period of several years, I tracked down 35mm elements - either camera negatives or composite master fine grains - for all 52 shows.

Now , if you say you also met Gleason , I'll have a matching set. Back in the seventies , someone I know , got Field's address and wrote him requesting an interview. Sadly , he received a reply from a relative saying that Sid had just passed away.
