Feb 5 06 4:53 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I meet Paul at work. He rented some sound gear for JOHNNY X. He also made THAT LITTLE MONSTER. I highly recommand it. Its pure silliness in the best meaning of the word. I'd LOVE to see Paul make some modest to big budget movies. His love for horror movies, Don Knotts, and Bob Hope shine through in the best way. I do hope he makes a name for himself for this one. He and his wife borrowed against the house to get it made. I made sure he got discount for that as well.

The original plan was to release the film this year, but that has been pushed back due to the tiresome task of gathering finishing funds, etc, to complete the picture. Speaking of Paul Williams .... It's a thrill for me to have Paul Williams cast as one of the main characters: "Mickey O'Flynn -- the Man with the Grin." We had a very nice meeting in March and he is looking forward to working on the project. I won't make any promises, but since this is a musical (of sorts) I may ask him to write one of the songs! Without giving too much away, we have designed a very unique and humorous look for the Mickey O'Flynn character. I think Paul's fans are going to get a real kick out of the way he looks in the film. Speaking of distribution .... My goal is to release the film theatrically through Landmark Theatres in Los Angeles and New York, followed by the official dvd release. The dvd will feature mini-documentaries on various aspects behind the making of the film along with a fun Cast & Crew audio commentary. THAT LITTLE MONSTER took me three and a half years to complete and at the time I felt that was way too long. This new project has been a bit of a frustration since I had to delay production to look for more money to finish it ... but that's all going to change very soon and we'll be back in business! I applaud any filmmaker, Ted Newsom included, who is willing to put his or her own money into a project. By the way .. if you want to see "Tor havin fun" as he appears in JOHNNY X .. here he is ...
