Next to last Tom Conway Falcon film, aired yesterday on TCM, must to my enjoyment. This was a fun one, a good mystery, with two things going on simultaneously but converging in an interesting way. Lots of lovely ladies, played by Rita Corday (bombshell), Jane Greer (really nice singing voice, never knew that), and Jean Brooks. Elisha Cook, Jr is in this film, and he's quite good as usual. I thought this one was a bit less noir-ish in tone than the past few have been, but still a good mystery, and though I was missing Allen Jenkins and Edward Brophy as the sidekick in this one, initially, Vince Barnett as Goldie eventually grew on me and did a fine job.
