Even though "technically" it's just barely an early ' 70s film, I have that stereotyped "Mod" image of mid-' 60s to early ' 70s England, so a really unromantic image like that can interfere with it
If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to. Dorothy Parker

A well-done and deliberately artificial makeup job!Do I have to pick one film over the other? Can't I love them both?

The Phibes films are all about the magic VP made in collusion with the incredible talent of Bob Fuest and allied talents such as Brian Eatwell and John Gale. Theatre of Blood alchemizes the link between Shakespeare and horror traditions of the 20th century with an incredible cast including Ian Hendry and Diana Rigg. Some of the murder scenes in the latter film are rife with black comedy, particularly those involving Coral Browne and Robert Morley. Price's getup as Butch the hair stylist in Browne's segment and his fey camping have to be seen to be believed. In the Morley segment he brilliantly sends up his own image as a celeb-chef. H.

I would have thought if anyone around here preferred a change from the normal, overfamiliar image, it would be you.
