Hello CHFB members,
This is Ed with the horror music instrumental band, Midnight Syndicate. I just wanted to share that our next CD, "Monsters of Legend" (June) is a tribute to the Universal Films of the 30s and 40s and Hammer Films. Those of you familiar with our other CDs, know that we're heavily influenced by classic horror and it's influence can be heard in everything we do. This new one takes it to another level for us. Our goal is to make you feel (through music and sound) like you are in the film - or even better - in the world of these films.
I have to say that although the imagery from both the Universal and Hammer films is a huge influence. The musical influence is definitely more Hammer (and the other European films of the 60s/70s - Amicus, Blind Dead). I hope you'll check us out or keep an eye out for the disc this summer. I'll certainly be posting more here and on our website, Facebook.
