Sep 1 12 6:44 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	It was quite something. Most of the exhibit was about Percy and about Mary's odd, famous family. But there's no doubt that the star of the room was those manuscript pages. As I said to Craig, and later to Frankensteinia's Pierre Fournier, I actually found it rather moving, seeing those famous, incredibly influential words as they appeared for the first time ever, in Mary's own careful hand. It was quite something. And thank you, James, I haven't been called a "cool guy" since, oh..... ummm..... I haven't been called a "cool guy."

Yeah, as I think said then, it was much like when I saw Dickens' "Carol" manuscript (which lives just a few blocks from where we saw the FRANK.) You stand there almost in a state of disbelief... You mean, some normal human brought these things to be by dint of labor? Timeless classics like these seem to have always somehow simply "been there," forever.

I would have loved to see the FRANKENSTEIN pages. What an amazing piece of history. Hard to believe they still exist. Knowing all that you guys know about movies, that's pretty cool in my book
