Aug 2 12 4:56 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Talk about timing; I just saw a promo on MeTV for THE BOY WHO CRIED WEREWOLF. Didn't realize Svengoolie was showing anything that recent, and it's a film that I've heard about since the Seventies but was never shown anywhere in my area. And it reunites Nathan Juran and Kerwin Mathews! (Thanks to AntennaTV, I finally got to see another elusive Seventies horror title some time back, SUGAR HILL.) I know there was a 2010 TV movie called THE BOY WHO CRIED WEREWOLF, with Brooke Shields. Was that a remake, or just the same in name only?

I gotta tell ya I've always found SSSSSSS tough-going. Saw it way back when, decided recently to give it another look (since sometimes tastes change), but I still came away feeling disappointed. Sad thing is, there is so much talent on both sides of the lens.

The scary 'Monster Snake Man' featured in FM only appeared briefly, and we were supposed to feel sorry for da jerk! Thankfully TBWCWW was the second feature so at least we got to leave the theater feeling we'd gotten our monster's worth.
