I agree about "Sundown" ... rehash in the face of The Slasher '80s, but it did inform in no small way all those films ... it's worth remembering that Jason was originally active under the guise of a simple pillowcase, before he donned that hockey mask. Jul 16 12 12:27 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	for a movie channel on broadcast tv thistv is a great channel. during the year i tried to get channels to come in good when i did not have cable it was one of the most dependable and it showed a good selection of movies.unfortunatly at one point even thistv started having reception problems. i hate digital tv.they had it mandated to replace analog before the bugs were worked out. Jul 16 12 4:45 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	My opinion? I've had THIS-TV for about 2 years now, and I think it's gone downhill over the past 5 months or so. They used to show a lot of Marx Bros, Abbott and Costello, Bob Hope, WC Fields, as well as film noir (some of it relatively obscure, such as EG Robinson in THE NIGHT HAS 1000 EYES), and some decent horror and sci-fi. I can remember there was a time they were doing double feature sci fi films (mostly from the 50s) on Sunday afternoons. They were showing Charlie Chan films for a while. They seem to have gravitated toward more and more current movie fare, and when they do show some classic stuff it's usually post-70s. They have a few things once in a while, but much less than I used to watch. They do have a nice array of TV shows, albeit limited, but they are very good, including OUTER LIMITS, HIGHWAY PATROL (actually they are worth the price of admission, I'd never seen this show until I got this channel a couple years ago), MISTER ED and a few others that are pretty good.
