Jun 23 12 6:18 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	When oh when will Universal post all the details of the release dates/ extras etcetera of their Monster Movie Classics? Originally they mentioned October as a release month but as far as I am aware no further release details have been posted anywhere does anyone on here know differently? For such long awaited titles I had hoped for more from Universal but after ringing/emailing the UK based Universal offices I have heard absolutely nothing at all they couldn't give a toss about the diehard fans!

NI certainly hope not I doubt that though it doesn't look too bad on the regular DVD with a remastered to 4K resolution I don't see why there should be such a great delay after all they'll have had a long time to prepare!

To be honest, my Legacy disks were a huge let down. Many of the movies wouldn't even PLAY in my DVD and Blu Ray players! So yes, VERY EXCITED to see these great films remastered - but also very wary of the quality of Universal releases. I'll be reading multiple reviews before buying. I strongly feel it would be in good taste for Universal to offer a discount for buyers with proof of purchase from the flawed Legacy disks! That won't happen, but it should!

I really hope they are well done....these films put Universal on the map and deserve decent treatment. The classic monsters have been printing money for the studio for a long damn time. If they can make Dracula look good, I'll be VERY impressed. Very excited.
