This actually looks really cool. I signed up, just wondering why it took this long to get a game made about the monsters. Did you notice Inspector Krough in the background? Who designed this? Any friends of the site?

Looks really interesting. But they made some puzzling choices in character design. The Frankenstein Monster is very true to the classic Karloff version, but several of the others have been more-or-less reinvented, especially The Creature. If they are selling these as the Universal Monsters, why on earth would they mess with the iconic character designs? It's like they are doing unlicensed knock-offs of properties they own. Except for the Monster this looks more like the VAN HELSING monster universe than the classic one. Still, it looks pretty cool.

I think that they look all recognizably like the monsters we know and love. I'm assuming that it's not very likely we'll see a true Lugosi-esque Dracula, probably due to copyright issues. This Dracula is still more Universal than what appeared in the movie

I totally agree with Kerry. They are so damned close to getting it right, why would they change it ? These game monsters DO look cool though, but I would have like to see them portrayed more accurately.

Don't know if Renfeild is in there but other characters like Inspector Krogh are. I was doing a little research for this piece: http://www.sinfulcelluloid.com/2012/06/digital-resurrection-universal-monsters.html and from what I've been told, there are likeness issues with certain deceased actors where the runners of the estate want too much money. As for the creature, I think they've been reworking him for years as they did not feel he was best represented.
