Type ten words, then, "Enter" and move down to the next line. Maybe this will fake out the system and , o-oh, here comes the turn- around again. See? A person has many sides and remembering the "darker" side is just as important because that's part of what makes up the whole person. In this case Ray Bradbury. If we want to get to know someone, take them in or remember them we should take ALL of them in, and not just the good stuff. Got to take the fleas with the dog, and there is nothing at all wrong with that. Robert T.

That was sort of my feeling. I actually don't disagree with some of what Ted said (although I think he was overly harsh in regards to his post-'62 writing) and would have had no problem with him posting his views in other threads on this board. But I think people come to THIS thread to express their sadness over losing Bradbury, what he meant to them, etc. Posting sarcastic insults in an obit thread seems a little disrespectful to both the dead and those here who are mourning him, or at the very least insensitive. If we want to get to know someone, take them in or remember them we should take ALL of them in, and not just the good stuff. That's all well and good, but there are certain individuals on this board (I am not counting Ted among them) who seem to have little interest in the good someone did, but are interested ONLY in the bad. Someone dies, and within minutes these inidividuals rush to post the most negative stories and most scandalous gossip. And nothing else. They seem to have the attitude of "Oh boy! So-and-so is dead! Now I can smear him with impunity!" Pretty tacky, if you ask me.
