May 29 12 11:30 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Today was Belinda Bauer day for me. I ended up watching two of her movies: "The Sins of Dorian Gray" and "The Servants of Twilight". Both were entertaining but the latter I never saw before. It's based on a Dean Koontz novel about a "6-year-old boy believed to be the Antichrist by a group of religious fanatics called the 'Servants of Twilight.' The boy's mother enlists the help of a private eye to protect her and her son from the group." I thought it was a pretty good film. Bruce Greenwood did a decent job as a P.I. and of course, Bauer was nice to watch. Anyone else see this? Antichrist:

Jun 8 12 9:20 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I finally got around to watching this last night. It had a TV-movie feel to it and, for the most part, I enjoyed it. It's really uneven and there are huge lapses of logic along the way. On the minus side, the direction is amateurish and the score is horrible. Belinda Bauer's performance is just a short step above a mannequin. On the plus side, Bruce Greenwood does a very capable job considering the material. The kid starts out as annoying, but winds up getting under your skin as things move along. Grace Zabriskie doesn't get nearly enough screen time as she channels Piper Laurie quite well. All in all, it has its moments and you could do far worse with your 90 minutes.

Yeah, Bauer isn't the greatest at her craft, which explains why she's a psychologist now, but she's definitely easy on the eyes. Like you said, "you could do far worse with your 90 minutes."

Jun 9 12 7:14 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I just saw this recently, and it's a pretty decent movie. As Python pointed out, I would have liked to have seen more of Grace Zabriskie. Every time she was on sceen, she stole the show. The only down side, it was to predictable.
