May 25 12 7:31 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Love the jaunty angle composition - Mark handled Kharis' blacked out eyes exceptionally well, not making them completely opaque but somewhat transparent instead, leaving in some detail... Really captures the spirit of things, with Zucco's sinister Andoheb leering in the background like that - just an outstanding job! Does this accompany an article on THE MUMMY'S HAND? So is this for an article on MUMMY'S HAND or...? May 26 12 4:19 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I like this cover too, very much actually. Mark has been kicking some serious butt lately! But to me nothing still compares to an actual painted image, especially when you get to see it up close and in person. I've fortunately been able to do that with a lot of Daniel Horne's paintings and have seen many originals from Gogos and other know genre painters in person over the years that are part of collections and they're simply gorgeous. I want to make it clear however that this is not a slight on anymore using the digital platform for the work as some truly amazing stuff has been done over the last several years. Every artist determines the platform they'll use to display their talents, and which one they feel most comfortable with. Daniel has done quite a bit of digital painting also over the years but has been focusing mainly on oils recently as that's the media he feels most comfortable with. Computer or paint, it's all good and I wish I had even the slightest artistic ability of Mark or Daniel. Unfortunately, my stick figures are even lame!
