May 21 12 8:16 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I don't know if it's been mentioned here before but Vidal Sassoon died at the age of 84 May 9th in Los Angeles. What's he got to do with horror? He was responsible for Mia Farrow's famous doo in ROSEMARY"S BABY. He's however probably more important for nearly single-hadedly drawing to a close the era of the teased and lacquered "hairdo" that ladies endured weekly at the local beauty parlor, by creating a styles that complimented peoples features and were easy to care for. I listen to a lot of NPR.

I was interested to hear how he took part in anti fascist street fights in the late forties. When he passed away some one mentioned how he'd turned up for work one day covered in bruises. Sassoon was too young to serve during the war, but he joined 43 Group in 1947 when he was 17 and took part in busting up resurgent Nazi meetings and rallies in Great Britain. GARY L. I think you misread my comment. I apologize then. I myself didn't think there was much that was terribly interesting about the man until I heard an NPR interview.
