Best Buy is currently having a sale on classic TV shows among which is Irwin Allan's Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea with each volume just $9.00. So if you're a fan and don't own it now is the time. That's cheaper than what Amazon.com is asking!
I haven't picked it up yet because I don't know if I like it yet. I've always wanted to see Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea ever since I saw clips from it on the documentary Attack of the 50-Foot Monster Mania but when the DVDs came out they were out of my price range at the time and since then the show has slipped to the back of my mind. But this has renewed my interest. So any recommendations? Would someone who is a fan of the original 1966 Ultraman series as well as similar shows dig this series? I understand there are suppose to be a lot of monsters and good miniature SFX.
Also I know the series is on Hulu and I've tried watching some of it on there. I just hate watching stuff on a computer screen.
