Is BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN classical? KING KONG? THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD? I know Prokofiev wrote the score for ALEXANDER NEVSKY and I believe William Walton wrote the score for the Olivier HAMLET. Even a popular melody like The Song From Moulin Rouge was written by Georges Auric. I recently watched an episode of the old TV series Victory at Sea and the score by Richard Rodgers would have fitted right in with classical in my opinion, for what that is worth.
