Looking for name of an MI host, earlyish 1970s, mid-MI (Saginaw/Bay City/Flint/Midland zone), maybe from channel 5 or 12. Possibly Superbeast or something? As I recall it, the show was visually almost psychedelic, the host was not supposed to be funny at all, it was sort of weird stuff for weekend afternoons. To confuse matters, other MI television stations had at approximately the same time, maybe '72-'73ish, the (transplanted from OH) Ghoul, Sir Graves Ghastly (also an Ohioan), the very brief Eddie's Science Fiction movie, Count Zappula, maybe another mid-MI host as well--name forgotten--and who knows what else. And which horror hosts could actually be regarded as having been syndicated, apart from (say) Elvira? At one point I think The Ghoul was on at least 3 stations, Sir Graves apparently on two.
