Everyone knows reds go with beef and whites go with poultry. But what about pairing fermented grape juice with movies? I say a good Gewürztraminer goes with entire Frankenstien series, its bold, spicy, has a slight sweetness, and it sounds german. A little cheese, a slightly chilled bottle and it plays equally well with Karloff, Clive, Lancaster, rathbone and Lugosi. No need to fork out $$$ for pretenious bubbly ( that stuff is wasted on them , as the Barron sez), Fetzer makes a servicable Gert, and several imports are nice.
