Just finished watching a rather rough old copy of this serial. Entertaining enough , but quite the daftest serial I have seen.
The scientist in this one , Dr. Tymak, is undoubtedly the most inventive character in any chapterplay. He has conquered space travel, you simply walk through a door in his lab & a couple of minutes later emerge on the moon. No space helmet or special clothing required. Quite how he was able to build a door on the moon isn't clear though.
He also has 'a time top' , jump in , spin about a bit & you land in any period of history you fancy. In addition he has discovered the secret of invisiblity. Push a button on his gadget & you vanish. One would have thought this was a very useful weapon to use against the villains but the best Tymak can do with it is let down the bad guys tyres.
Despite all these inventions the heavies are only interested in his 'interceptor ray'. Clever as Tymak is he keeps getting captured. Fortunately Brick is around with his flying fists to help out.
