Don't know how the sea monster fits into the plot; whether it's something to impress the fiancee or real...like to see it myself. from TCM: Danny Terry, a wild-animal expert for a scientific magazine, goes to the Mariposa Islands and pretends to be a white savage to put over a hoax on a rival magazine's expedition, guided by Professor Atwater. In New York, he is placed on exhibition at a "jungle ball" given by Mrs. Atwater to celebrate the betrothal of her daughter to Howard Kipp. Terry's editor tries to expose the hoax, but Terry has fallen in love with Ysabel and refuses to disgrace her father; meanwhile, Ysabel breaks her engagement upon finding her fiancé with another girl. Though she knows Terry is a fake, she goes away with him, and they declare their mutual love. Terry convinces his pursuers that the "savage" has escaped, and as himself he finds happiness with Ysabel. Ben Lyon’s mother visited her son on the set of The Savage (1926), the perfect opportunity for a publicity photo.

May 4 12 9:18 PM Burgomaster Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I wonder if the dinos might be from the Mexican caveman comedy El bello durmiente (THE BEAUTIFUL DREAMER) from 1952 starring Tin-Tan. May 5 12 1:57 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I don't think it's from that one Gary, but thanks in pointing out that strange film, which I have never seen or heard about. The Dinosaurs in it were really cool, and I think are marionettes, as well as hand puppets, and maybe even a few mechanical puppets. While the dinos in that film are definitely as cartoony as the ones in the mystery photo, they're simply not a match, in appearance or type. This thread is starting to resemble an episode of House ...
