Apr 21 12 12:31 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Which version of this Rollin title is most desirable the Shriek Shoe or the Redemption. The Redemption shows a 1.33:1 aspect ratio, and the Shriek Show is widescreen. Since it was shot on Super 16mm, it's possible 1.33:1 is correct?

Apr 22 12 9:43 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I believe the aspect ratio of Super 16 is 1.85:1 or thereabouts. (That's what makes it "super.") I've only seen the SS DVD, and it looks properly framed.

I've occasionally found his films to be a little too amateur in execution, mixed uncomfortably with a little too much pretension. So far I've seen GRAPES OF DEATH, LIVING DEAD GIRL, NIGHT OF THE HUNTED, SHIVER OF THE VAMPIRES, LIPS OF BLOOD, ZOMBIE LAKE & THE ROSE OF IRON. THE ROSE OF IRON has been my favorite thus far.
