Mar 30 12 7:09 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	The new rights owner of THE SLIME PEOPLE (and the all-star THE CRAWLING HAND with Peter Breck, Kent Taylor, Rod Lauren, Allison Hayes, Tristram Coffin, Alan Hale Jr., Richard Arlen, etc.) is trying to decide whether to re-master them, correct aspect ratios, etc., and try to do a bit of a "deluxe" job on their DVD releases -- but doesn't know if anybody'll actually BUY 'em! Mar 30 12 7:40 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Throw in a Weaver-Susan Hart commentary track on SLIME PEOPLE and I'm there. CRAWLING HAND is a tougher sell but Rod Lauren has a pretty bizarro life story that would be good fodder for a supplement or commentary material.

Mar 30 12 8:40 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Producer Joseph Robertson would be a good commentator on BOTH movies but the Earth seems to have swallowed him up. I interviewed him several years ago, and since then I've gotten emails from a bunch of people looking for him for various reasons; I can't help them because the address and phone # I had for Robertson are now no good, and no one seems to be able to find him. I've done a lot of interviews with folks who died very shortly thereafter but this is the only one where my interviewee instantly proceeded to vanish! Last Edited By: TomWeaver999 Mar 31 12 11:27 AM. Mar 31 12 1:12 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Slime People for sure. I hate listening to that with one speaker turned off. I'm kinda partial to the MST3K version of The Crawling Hand but if it's a big upgrade with the trailer and proper OAR... most likely that too.

Harris, Ib Melchior and Del Tenney still walk the Earth. I've wondered for years who'll be the Last Man Standing. (Funny that they're all men -- I would have thought a woman would be the last to go.)

The Crawling Hand was the bad movie that started me on my insane quest, and still has the best "corpse blinking scene" that I've ever come across. Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!!

Apr 3 12 12:02 AM Burgomaster Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Count me in for both of 'em. SLIME PEOPLE was a pleasant discovery for me when I was 12 and is still fun to watch. Kind of ambitious for a low budget film. Nice monster suits, too. I also like THE CRAWLING HAND, which is pretty unsettling in spots, especially the crack-up in space. The malt shop attack with The Rivington's "Bird's the Word" providing accompaniment is Tarantino before Tarantino. And the junkyard cats devouring the hand is pretty cool. Chow, chow, chow! GARY L.
