Chris- This is the kit I was telling you about last year (could not tell you who was making it). I was going to do a resin kit in this scale of a generic "Guy in a gorilla suit" when Moebius (Frank) told me he was making this kit I cancelled my plans. I appreciate all the nice reference pics you sent me though. This is going to be one cool kit!

Jim-I was wondering if this was your handywork months ago when Bob showed me the prototypes.
Like you, I'm just glad to have such a cool kit !
I think Bob is the perfect choice for the gorilla in the lab ( Monster Scenes) kit as he was one of the higher profile gorilla man at the time the Monster Scenes kits were out.(Thanks to Ghost Busters)
I know I know, Kogar is a "Monsters of the Movies" kit, but in my little world, he'll be rooming with Dr Deadly and the gang !

I cant wait for this kit, even though its "Monsters of the Movies" it will still fit in nicely with the new kit I'm making "The Sinister Cell" that was to house my Gorilla suit guy. Perfect and perfect timing!
And I might add the strangest coincidence I've ever encountered. How strange that two people would both have the same weird, off beat idea at the same time (and scale). Great minds think alike!

This kit is a must buy for ANY monsterkid!

Edit: I had a chance to check out this kit in test shot form yesterday and can confirm it is a wonderful kit. The amount of detail they managed to get into the gorillas face (on two seperate heads-included) is really incredible for injection molding! The sculpt was done by Jeff yahger (SP?) who is one of, if not the best in model sculpting and the end results really pay off! The Bob burns head looks awesome and it also comes with an extra half arm for different poses. You guys are gonna love this kit!

I believe extra arm is so Bob can hold kathy ala the Monster Scenes Frankenstein.
The detail is amazing on this kit and Moebius has really done an incredible job with this kit.

Just got an order from Steve over at CultTvMan yesterday, and a glossy double-sided postcard promo for this was included in the package. Looks great.

I wish Moebius would bring out the rest of the Monsters of the Movies kits that have never been reissued; not just Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, but even the Wolf Man in its original snap-together form. (Sorry, but that resin recast just doesn't do it for me.)

I got my kit a few days before Christmas, and I gotta tell you, It's awesome !
I did a paint, and resculpted hair on Bob to make him resemble how he looked when he played Tracy in Ghost Busters.
I did a review of the kit on Hollywood Gorilla Men, with photos !
