Apr 15 12 12:23 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I doubt it's the worst, but the Batman three-part episode from 1967 with Rudy Vallee and the superb Glynis Johns as Lord and Lady Fogg had some embarrassing fake-London moments. It was all supposed to be a send-up anyway so it hardly matters... H.

She was also in Sing a Song of Murder, an episode of Murder She Wrote, with Jessica Fletcher's identical music hall singer twin cousin just there as a tirbute to Dorain Gray, with Lansbury redoing her songs.

But it always makes me smile when we now see 60s (and sometimes 70s) TV shows such as Man from Uncle set in London and we have the obligatory red phone boxes, pillar boxes and double decker buses.

I remember a recent Sci-fi (sorry Syfy) movie called Stonehenge Apocalypse. Nothig convinced. Mountains in Gloucester. American phrasing. One American-looking school. Neither did the MTV Def Leppard bio.

Apr 17 12 2:04 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	That DefLeppard story was set in Sheffield, clearly filmed in a Canada town that looked like somewhere in the Midwest, some redneck place. The only sign to Britain apart from the rather good Northern accents was the odd Mini, Phone box and the union jack in the pub. Why do they always film in Canada? Bring back the Eady Levy?

Looks like the only thing they did was stick a huge American gas guzzling car in the scene's other than that looks just like good old Hertfordshire !

I saw some Edward and Mrs simpson biopic with richard chamberlain and faye dunaway, and I'm 99.7 percent sure it was filmed at universal studios.Patrick Macnee and Ian Abercrombie were in it, but the only scene I think was at the Little Europe lot was filled with journos, but I recognised the door.
