I just got a few Lon Chaney Jr owned photos with his writing on the back. Arthur F McClure, author of "More Character People" wrote to Chaney Jr and requsted photos both portraits and as various characters for a book. He included some typed questions like favorite roles, when did he start acting etc. Chaney typed the answers and included various photos. Chaney typed that he wrote information on the back of each photo, gave permission for Arthur to use and return the photos. This is the best photo and the only one printed in the book. The printing on the back is identical to several signed checks on Ron's site.
