Yeah, I don't know why they label it new -- short memories, maybe. On the other hand, it was a kick to hear Maxwell Truth reminisce about cutting through the fence at the Buffalo Drive-In to sneak in and see LEGEND OF BOGGY CREEK back in '72, 'cuz that's only about three blocks from where I'm typing this now. The Drive-In's gone, but I racked up a lot of hours in there as well. Ah memories, memories ......

They aired a disclaimer before the show started that this would be that last episode airing on WKBW Buffalo. Such a shame, I'm sure they're just gonna replace it with infomercials. I wonder if its going to keep airing on other channels, and considering Buffalo is the originating station will they make any new episodes. They did go out with a bang though, the last movie was Larry Buchannan's Attack of the Eye Creatures.

Jul 9 12 3:30 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I just did a bit more looking into this. It looks like the show is just moving higher up the dial, going from channel 7 to 67, and will still be producing new episodes. I wish I got channel 67.

They've also just begun to produce their own original programming recently too, within the last two weeks. So we got Maxwell Truth and Svengoolie on the same channel now? Wheeeeee!

I check the copyright dates on movies I haven't seen lately, and no 2012 that I've noticed, but I think they're inserting new material (much like Svengoolie does?). For instance, this past week saw THE BRAIN FROM PLANET AROUS, but the inserts were done on location at a local bike shop (Campus Wheelworks) for the entire show, with only general references of "back to our movie" type thing. The inserts looked recent -- Bird has white hair, for instance -- and they match recent tv ads for the bike shop. Oh, and the "location" stuff was in color mostly, which was weird. I can't imagine the syndicated version running what amounts to a local 2 hour infomercial, though. What does the rest of the country get? I've noticed them putting a trailer for the film before the program actually starts. Don't recall seeing that very often. And it's nice they're showing obscure titles I haven't seen lately, like WEREWOLF OF WASHINGTON or THE DEADLY MANTIS (the "alternate" version, unfortunately, with the truck minus the bug chasing it). This week they list HIS GIRL FRIDAY, which I'm guessing is from back when they showed more non-genre stuff. We shall see.

Nov 16 12 12:35 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Thanks for the info Hal, I haven't checked them out lately because their second hour overlaps with Svengoolie for me but I noticed their website is down not sure if it's a permanent or temporary thing as a lot of folks seem to only be doing Facebook now which I hate to see. I'll try to check out their show this weekend I know before on RTV they seemed to be repeating their schedule every 4 or 5 months with the same batch of films. Update: I was able to access their website through an old link I post earlier in this thread and I took a look at their RTV schedule and for this weekend they have HIS GIRL FRIDAY as Hal mentioned is schedule also for it's home station in Buffalo not a particular film I care to see again but I'll tune in to see what they are up to.
