Not horror, but some creepy shots of a misty grave and another great Laughton performance may make this melodramatic film something that people who frequent this thread may enjoy. It has some excellent pre code moments also. Check the scene involving a cigarette with Laughton being seduced by Verree Teasdale, for example.
There is also a stunning scene near the end with Laughton laughing manically and the lighting closes in on a medium shot with only his face lit in the upper right before fading out.
