May 5 13 12:11 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	This week I take a look at the 1968 BBC series Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. I look at the first episode of this story to exist in the series but the second one broadcast, A Study in Scarlet. Peter Cushing took over the role of Sherlock Holmes from Douglas Wilmer and I take a little bit of time comparing and contrasting the two actors in the role. I look at the plot in detail as I see some points appear to be glossed over plus I look at how this differs from Conan Doyle's original story. As this being a unique piece of archive television, I examine how it's made, the quality of the episode presented on DVD and the series archival standings.
