Mar 25 12 10:06 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	At the other end of the terrifying titles spectrum is FIRST MAN INTO SPACE. I remember when seeing this title upcoming on out local Shock Theater assuming it was going to be another one of those long winded b-o-r-i-n-g space operas with a guy dodging meatball meteors. But being a dedicated Monster Kid sat up to watch it anyway. Was I delighted to be scared almost to the point of peeing my jammies when that crusty faced monster came out swinging and thirsting for blood! Mr. Tom Weaver mentions a similar experience with this one on his commentary for the film and I can imagine it caught a lot of other kids off guard, too. You can't judge a book by its cover - or a monster movie, either!

You can't judge a book by its cover - or a monster movie, either! Just the preview of FIRST MAN INTO SPACE had me cowering in fear on the filthy floor of the theater I saw it in. I know you scare, I know your pain... And let me just slip this one in. Titles are pretty terrifying... "You can't smell any reefer, can you"?
