Jan 2 13 12:46 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I tend to marathon through Ray's Sinbad trilogy during the Thanksgiving weekend, since 7th VOYAGE used to get shown on a local station on Thanksgiving Day as I was growing up. Circumstances this year prevented that, so I decided to do it the day after Christmas...with the arctic setting of the final film taking place onscreen while a snowstorm was taking place outside. (Sinbad fought a giant walrus, and I had to clear the driveway. I think Sinbad got the better deal.)

I have wondered why the several folks who do re-recordings haven't chosen GOLDEN VOYAGE. I can only surmise that they don't think it will sell as well as the titles that they have produced. Since Rozsa was disappointed when he didn't get the size orchestra he wanted, this represents a chance by someone to present the composer's score as he'd have liked.
