I put the second film, Herbie Rides Again (1974), for the kids last night and they enjoyed it immensely. We had already seen the first film and the 'remake.'
- I liked the nighmare scene.
- I find it interesting that the derby is set like renaissance faire of sorts. Is this the film that inspired George Romero's Knightriders? Or where fairs/derbys such as this really done in real life?
Other than that we get recycled footage from the first and a cool King Kong recreation plus lots of visual gags of the live-action Disney type. Hardly a 'great' film, but nevertheless an OK Disney shopping cart movie.
