I have a fair-sized accumulation of such material and a few duplicates. I would like to find someone with similar interests who might have material for trade. These posters are fairly uncommon but there do seem to be a handful of collectors around.

When I have time -- maybe this weekend -- I'll post some of the pieces from my collection. It's certainly the right time of year for them. For anyone interested in this essentially dead form of performance art, the definitive history is a book by Mark Walker, called Ghostmasters, out of print but readily available from Amazon resellers and occasionally on eBay. Walker's book is full of great posters and images.

Oct 11 11 2:22 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	And here's the monster from that particular show. I think the guy behind the Museum of Movie Monsters was a magician named Pat Patterson. A few years back, part of his estate ended up for sale on Ebay. I'm pretty sure this Pat Patterson is the same as J.G. Patterson, Jr., who appeared in The Body Shop as Don Brandon. Among Brandon's effects, besides pressbooks, stills, and posters, were many photos related to Blood Feast appearances at theaters, so I'm guessing that at least some of his shows -- perhaps this one -- were associated with early showings of HG Lewis' classic. GHOSTMASTERS is one of my favorite books. The old clock on the wall says it's time to start jumping to conclusions again.

It's an original set of hand-cut "wood block" printer's negative sheets (one sheet size); It is my belief that the lettering/elements carved in these sheets were used to print several different classic "spook" posters. I have one of the varieties of printed posters utilizing these.

Bob, I'm told by a family member who had a career in printing that those are litho blocks, used in offset printing.
