Oct 8 11 3:44 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	This was a serial of 10 short episodes directed by Louis Feuillade. I've seen 5 of 10 parts and it looks pretty good. A reporter and his loyal (questionable!) friend battle a criminal organization known as the Vampires, who are running amok in the streets of Paris. I think it's worth mentioning that this film has some of the best pre-James Bond gadget effects: poison pens, codebooks, gunfights, even poison rings, you name it; this film is so ahead of its time. It gets 4.5 out of 5 from me so far; can't wait to finish it! If you don't already own this film, look for the guy on YouTube that goes by ArtFilmsAnimation. He has uploaded all 10 episodes. Oct 8 11 1:27 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	It's got a real pulpy World War I feel to it that can't be manufactured. Captured "on the spot", as it happened. And Musidora as Irma Vep is so far ahead of her time it's scary. I love this serial.
