I was a fan before and each rewatching of one of his films makes me more so. I'm glad that he had some idea of how much he was appreciated before he passed away. Russ

His camera movies all the time, it is really distracting. I think Terry's' is just right. I wish Fisher had had a chance to direct a big budget film like NORTH BY NORTHWEST. Come on give the guy credit, CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN, HORROR OF DRACULA and THE MUMMY really had a big influence on films of the time. I really don't think we would be talking about Hammer if it wasn't Fisher that directed those films, they were great! Terence Fisher is my favorite movie director of all time. Even a near miss like DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS has some great moments, definitely the best director Hammer had. Growing up in the sixties they were as intense as films got, people were talking about DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS for quite a while after it came out.
