I just posted a review of The World’s Greatest Sinner (at www.ManorOnMovies.com) however, for the life of me couldn’t decide whether it “officially” is to be considered a horror movie. It does contain elements seen in traditional horror/sci-fi, such as the band of citizens forming a fascist group; but then again, the film is so damn weird, it could just as easily be translated as some sort of morality tale.
Any thoughts?
Surprisingly enough, this aired on Turner Classic Movies a few years ago, when they were regularly running cult pictures in the wee smalls. They paired it with 200 Motels, I’m guessing because of the Zappa connection.
