Apr 5 13 11:36 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Earlier tonight I stopped by a newsstand I haven't visited in a while, and although they are very well-stocked, with racks going so high that they are well out of reach of anyone who doesn't play professional basketball, they had only two horror mags: FANGORIA and SHADOWLAND. This was the first time I'd seen SHADOWLAND anywhere, so I figured I'd give it a look; the General Ursus cover painting was icing on the cake. I like it. It's not for those who prefer a slicker look; image reproduction is overall dark and occasionally very muddy. But it's enthusiastic and filled with love for genre films. I'll definitely check out future issues.
