I got this about 5 years ago. Where, I can't remember. Why, I don't know. I remember seeing trailers for it on one of my old Sinister Cinema trailer tapes, but that really is the only place I can think of being exposed to it except for maybe the original Pyschotronic video guide. I finally got around to seeing it last week. I was not expecting much and, well, I didn't get much. It started out fine and atmospheric, but quickly went down hill after the first, say, 5 minutes. Not to pile on a bad movie, but the whole change from blue tint to red tint to color to black and white thing was very annoying not to mention the fact that it showed up some very bad skin conditions. I read on IMDB that it was shot that way because there was a shortage of color film in the Philippines. I guess they also had a shortage of makeup as well. Still, it could have been done a little more interestingly if they used the various tints and color changes thematically instead of doing it in a random fashion which seems to be the way it was done. It wasn't even campy enough to be funny, except for the bat which sounded like the Penn State Nittany Lion and could hover better then a humming bird. It was just plain boring. Still, I managed to sit through the whole thing. Even Larry Buchanan's movies were better then this.
