Count me in as well. These movies are a perfect example of something being greater than the sum of its parts. Given their writing, cast, monsters, budget, etc. there is no way these should be any good. As others have suggested, though, they are nearly perfect brainless entertainment -- and i don't mean brainless in a bad way here -- they simply allow you to follow the story for what it is and not worry about it. Kind of the cinematic equivalent of turning on, tuning on, and dropping out!
