I thought I would just round all of these films out with their own threads.
Better film than Doom, yet not as good as Raiders, Crusade is nevertheless a successful swan song for the Indy trilogy for me, Crystal Skull not withstanding. There's a lot of affection in this story for the characters, and the introduction of Indy's dad really plays well through the story. The opening sequence that explains Indy's origins still makes me laugh out loud, and the quest for the holy grail itself is a fantastic adventure, and we learn so much about Jones in this story. Just lots of fun, for me.
